Introduction

Rock Drill Technologies (RDT) was established to supply pneumatic rock drills and their maintenance spare parts to the mining, quarrying and construction industries across Southern Africa. Founded in 2011, it has close links to the Nxco group of companies who have been supplying niche drill and blast solutions into South Africa as well as the global market for many years.

 

Situated in Gauteng province close to good logistics infrastructure, RDT is able to support all of its customers in SA as well as further afield into the greater SADC region.

 

Managed by a team of entrepreneurial, business owners who understand the need for personal service and attention to detail, RDT has a clear view of the business needs of our clients with over 60 years combined experience in the mining and construction industries. We continuously strive to further develop our skills and knowledge to improve our value offering and are open to new and innovative ways of doing business.

Products & services

RDT sells complete drills as well as separate component parts for both wet and dry pneumatic rock drills for both underground and surface applications. Both drills and parts are fully interchangeable with more well-known existing drills without any compromise on quality. RDT carries considerable inventory stock of both the complete drills and spares and these can be delivered, couriered or air freighted to any location as required.

 

In additional RDT can source and assist with the procurement of niche rock breaking solutions such as non-explosive pyrotechnic cartridges, expansive mortars and other low energy rock breaking consumable products.

 

Additional products and services can be supplied upon request through a network of contacts in the mining and construction industries for both consumable as well as capital equipment products.
